Bryan lives in Udora, Ontario and has been growing hardneck garlic for over 20 years. What began as just wanting good garlic to cook with, turned into a passion that now has him teaching people about growing garlic and the art of garlic braiding. Bryan grows over 500 plants a year and enjoys giving braids as gifts as well as sharing his garlic with friends and family. On Saturday Bryan will be on the main stage presenting the basics on growing great garlic from bulbs and from seed, some of the pitfalls associated with growing this great crop, and will finish his presentation demonstrating the art of braiding garlic.
Bryan also offers two private workshops for patrons to create their very own handcrafted braid of garlic. The workshops are in a private setting at 11:00 am and 3:00 pm, the cost is $40 per person and the garlic is included in the price.
