Darryl Fletcher’s inspiration to pursue a culinary career began while watching Graham Kerr (The Galloping Gourmet) and trying some recipes at home. He is a graduate of the Chef De Partie program from Humber College in Toronto, Canada.
Chef D’s career as a Chef has grown from humble beginnings in Kitchener to all over North America to once more bringing him home to Kitchener. He has worked with wonderful people at such companies as Weber’s Restaurants, M&M Meat Shops and Aqua Star North America. Chef D enjoys teaching cooking classes for leading Canadian retailers Loblaw’s and Zehrs in their “What’s For Dinner” program. He and his recipes have been featured in Canadian Living and Foodservice and Hospitality magazine’s Chef’s Corner, various cook books and has been a popular guest on CTV News at Noon, City TV’s Breakfast Television and Kitchener’s Rogers Daytime.
Chef D has launched the third season of his top rated cooking show, ‘At Home with ChefD’ on Rogers TV with a live, salivating audience. He is the author of two cookbookettes, Maple Madness and Garlic Madness.
ChefD is the popular host of ChefDtv.com, an innovative online cooking show, and he creates new recipes and flavour profiles for Pillers Meats, Gold Seal, Gay Lea, Ivan Hoe Cheese and Nutra Farms. You can book ChefD for an Elegant in-home Dining experience through the website, chefdtv.com.
